Heat transfer in modern automotive lights
Holec, Radek ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The beginning of this thesis is dedicated to light in general and all different types of vehicle lightning, also deals with various types of light sources and specifically about LED where it describes the temperature change behaviour. Second part deals with heat transfer by conduction, convection, and radiation, it describes quantities and relationships needed for next capitols. In the penultimate part is described thermal management of headlights, therefore different options of cooling and causes of heat generation, and different types of PCBs that are used in automotive. In the last part is proposed the heatsink, which should be used for cooling LED chips of daytime running lights.
Design of class AB stereo audio power amplifier
Zatloukal, Tomáš ; Polák, Ladislav (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The following work deals with design of class AB low-frequency amplifier, which is appropriately supplemented by correction Pre-amplifier and inrush protection circuit. The original schematic from prof. Leach was edited to fulfill task and to be easily completed from discrete components. The result of this work is the final design of power amplifier and correction pre-amplifier, protection circuit for speakers and power supply. As a next part, the design of printed circuit boards will be described together with assembling and mounting of boards in a construction box. Power amplifier will be verified by simulation and hardware measurements.
Active cooling of the car headlight
Žlebek, Jan ; Mauder, Tomáš (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to design the cooling of the headlamp by using a Peltier module. The first chapter is to acquaint the reader with the possibility of heat transfer. Further work is focused on various types of heatsinks and printed circuit board. The third part describes the principle of functions of Peltier's module. The last part of the work contains the design of the heatsink assembly and the design solution of fixing the cooling assembly in the housing.
Cooling systems in computers
Roman, Jan ; Kamenský, Petr (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with present methods of cooling computer components, describe its properties mainly efficiency and suitability for appropriate cooling tasks. For better understanding and quantification of its principles there are given possibilities of heat transfer. Next work deals with problematics of cooling data centres, shows its energy consumption and says about possibilities of waste heat recovery.
